1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using MarkBot, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.
2. Description of Service
MarkBot provides AI-powered exam paper marking services. We use artificial intelligence to analyze and grade student submissions based on provided or inferred marking criteria.
3. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate account information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Use the service only for lawful purposes
- Not upload inappropriate or harmful content
- Review AI-generated marks before final submission to students
4. Credits and Payment
- Credits are purchased in advance and deducted per page marked
- 1 credit = 1 page of marking
- Credits do not expire
- Unused credits from aborted batches are refunded to your account
- All purchases are final; credits cannot be refunded for cash
5. AI Limitations
While we strive for accuracy, AI marking is not infallible. Teachers should:
- Review AI-generated marks and feedback
- Make final grading decisions themselves
- Not rely solely on AI for high-stakes assessments
6. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of all content you upload. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to process your content for the purpose of providing our marking services.
7. Limitation of Liability
MarkBot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of our service, including but not limited to incorrect marks or grades.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
